š¬Elon Musk confirms public will ‘not be seeing’ Kanye West’s Twitter again after rants
After days of posting that was widely reviled as racist, sexist, misogynistic and ignorant the rapper, 47, thanked Elon Musk for āallowing me to ventā on Sunday night

Kanye West has deactivated hisĀ TwitterĀ following days of racist, misogynistic, and anti-Semitic posts with the websiteās owner,Ā Elon MuskĀ stating that his account would be hidden from view for most users.
After days of posting that was widely reviled as racist, sexist, misogynistic, and ignorant by celebs and otherĀ social mediaĀ users alike,Ā the rapper, 47,Ā thanked Elon Musk for āallowing me to ventā on Sunday night before announcing he was ālogging outā of Twitter.
His offensive erratic behavior was allowed to continue for three days, during which time he posted statements such as āI love Hitler,ā and āIām a Nazi,ā as well as claiming āI have dominion over my wife,ā in a post referring to Bianca Censori appearing fully nude on the Grammys red carpet.
In a post following Westās announcement that he was ālogging outā, Elon Musk, the billionaire owner of X, formerly Twitter, said: āGiven what he has posted, his account is now classified as NSFW [not safe for work]. You should not be seeing that anymore.ā
The erratic and incessant posting, much of it deeply offensive, has caused people to fear for the mental stability of the music star. But on Sunday he uploaded a video claiming he was sound of mind, despite a triad of Tweets taking aim at his old rivalĀ Taylor SwiftĀ during Sundayās Super Bowl game.
āI know youāre all thinking Iām going something through right now and Iāve got bags under my eyes and s***,ā a groggy West told his followers.
He added, āI wouldnāt want nobody to like, do an intervention on me – thatās why I wanted to put this video up cause youāre all thinking, āYe really going it through something right now. Somebody need to go get them or go take his Twitter and stuff like thatā.ā
He added that he would not apologize for or take back any of his tweets, saying: āI got my ideas out; thatās all that happened and that was very freeing for me – and it was worth everything, it was worth everything to do that.
āBut Iām just telling you calmly that I am in a good space – Iām really in a positive space, itās cathartic.ā
Meanwhile, Milo Yiannopoulos, the owner of the talent management company that represents Kanye West, said his client was taking an indefinite break from X, according to the Hollywood Reporter. āYe [West] has deactivated his X account for the time being,’ Yiannopoulos said on X/Twitter Sunday evening.ā
Jonathan Greenblatt, the chief executive of the Anti-Defamation League, blasted Westās ādangerous behaviour,ā the New York Times reports, calling his posts āa flagrant and unequivocal display of hate.ā
